I cant play my own sims4 cd because of game time 48 hour trial

I downloaded the 48 hour free trial of sims 4 from origin. I really liked the game so after two days, ı bought its Limited edition cd. When i install the game, it is still looks like free 48 hour free trial on Origin. And Origin doesnt lets me play the game because it says the game time has expired. I uninstalled both the game and Origin. But situation is still the same. So, how can i overwrite this trial with my limited edition cd? (Oh and one more information, when i complete installing, it didnt prompted the the part to enter serial code?)

Did you try redeeming the code on Origin ? Did you reinstall the game from the DVD or is it just a message you get on trying to install ?

Reason I ask is this similar post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/The-Sims-4-installation-after-Game-Time/td-p/4271092/jump-to/fir... where it was just a matter of a wrong message displaying.

Whenever I try to redeem the code it says Its already been used

Mine says that too and i hope someone can help us with that problem..

Go to the tab that says "Origin" and select Redeem code. Enter your code with the dashes included. Follow the rest of the instructions. Then go to the "Origin" tab again and click run as administrator. Follow the directions. It will do an update. Ready to FINALLY play. Hope this helps.

Same thing is happening to me. I've tried to redeem my code but everytime it says it has already been used.
