Before I start, I play on a Nokia Lumia 520 which operates on Windows Phone 8.
I have been completing the Sims Freeplay 'Love is in the Air' quest, and have just reached the stage where I have to marry my Sims. When I was given the task, I was told that I would be given the Eternity Ring for free. So I tapped on the Sim and then propose. It showed the ring selection. All the rings were greyed out, apart from the Eternity Ring, which clearly said 'free' beside it. I then tapped on that - and then received a notice saying that I need more Lifestyle Points! I have tried plenty of times, opened and closed the game, but all to no avail. I have googled it and it seems to be a common problem, and also a very annoying one.
