Simpsons - iOs 16.1.1 upgrade iPhone game won’t load

Since I upgraded to 16.1.1 Friday, I can now longer play the game.

it loads, and I tap the screen to login then the donut spins and it disappears. It’s still loaded but when I click on it it closes but not really.

whaaaaa…. I need my Simpsons game..

are y’all working on a fix? Or am I having a unique issue?

I can’t get to the point of clicking the help screen in the game.

ATTENTION: the following advice applies only if the user has an EA Account, otherwise the game progress could be lost.
Do the following:
- Check device date and time (possibly, in device settings, check that date&time is set to AUTOMATIC- get from network
- Uninstall the game
- Turn off ALL data connections
- Turn off the device
- Wait a few minutes
- Turn on the device
- Turn on ONLY the mobile data network
- Download the app
- Wait for the app to download all game data before logging in
- Sign in
Only when and if you manage to return to your city can you reactivate any WIFI connections

I have the same exact problem. Did you get help and figure out how to login successfully?

By the way I am able to login to Tapped Out on older iPhone using older IOS. I need help please.

Thank you for the advice... I tried many times but did not work.

Any other suggestion. It seems that the new IOS version is having problems with Tapped Out. Older IOS version working but very SLOW. 

Anyone else having this problem?

@007Polachito - try resetting your wifi . . .
Believe it's Settings > Connections > Reset
You'll need to select your network and re-enter the password probably

Normally we'd say check your EA account but if you can play on an older device that might not apply.

Was the game already on there and logged in though ??
If the answer was Yes then . . .
Head to your EA account -
https://myaccount.ea.com/cp-ui/aboutme/index
Check everything is correct.
Check your email is verified.
While you're there I'd recommend, if you haven't already, add a second email for account recovery and perhaps a phone number. You can select to use the phone option at log-in and get the codes via SMS
Change your password. As long as it's less than 15 characters and only contains letters and numbers you can change it to what it already is.
Hit Update to save the changes.

@007Polachito a user, with a similar problem, has obtained benefits by resetting, from the phone settings, the connections (search for data connection reset or network reset)

App crashing after update to Ios 16.1.1 on iphone 12 - re-installation (2,5 GB update!) not succesfull - anonymous login starts new game (no crash) - after login crashing after a few seconds. Suggestions?

@r32jesses try using a different data connection.
One user solved this problem by going through phone options and performing a connection reset (network reset).

I tried using mobile data (same result) - I don't dare to reset my network settings (everything else works fine); restartet iphone also
