I am having exactly the same problem. Diagnostic writing, will not go online and went to Norway map

The game won't start. It shows only ID_S........ for all in game options with no result after clicking on the link.!!!!!

Same here.  I get the type of font for each listing in the menu but cannot get the game to run when I try to click on the links.

I have the same problem on PC Sparta all over the screen. I deleted game twice and returned same Sparta *. Is there a fix yet?

I am having the same issue.  Anyone know how to fix this?

@st_struya I had the same problem. Even though I couldn’t read it I went ahead and clicked on X on my PS4 remote when I saw “update”. After clicking X to update don’t click X anymore because you might then cancel the update. Now everything looks back to normal.

Finally its fixed! For PS4 this somehow worked to me (some buttons press might be forgotten): 

- press X when game loads

- press left and X.

- Then some message is showed, press X to close it

-  press R2 (connect to EA)

- then it again showed some message, i guess pressed X to close it.

- then again showed some message, pressed X and update started.
