BF1 Crashing to Desktop Constantly

BF1 has been crashing to desktop in increasing frequency on my PC. In my event viewer I get:

Thank you for the info. Reinstalling should never have an effect on your saves -they're saved on a separate file- but if you don't want to install I'll try to find other players who have tried this step.

I've tried doing a clean re-install of my graphics driver and checking that Win10 is up to date.

Since it's direct X I'd try a couple of steps, while running Origin as an administrator run a repair on BF1, if that doesn't work I'd run the Windows error checker as shown here:  https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4026529/windows-10-using-system-file-checker

Game is crashing on the title screen following today’s update. I’ve tried resetting, hard resetting the console (Xbox one) . Help!

Just an idea. Pop in a different game and verify it works, then try SWBF2.
Hard reset, make sure you pull the cord from the wall, wait 10 secinds and hit a console button while unplugged to get the static out.
Did the download complete or did you hit play when it reached the play point?

I played Battlefield 1 during the entire update; also tried loading another game then going back to BF2 - no luck

Thank you for the posts, we're aware of the issue and looking into it.

I have a couple of questions that should help with investigating this. 

1: have you tried a reinstall of the game?
2: are you using a disc or digital copy?
3: Did anything "strange" happen during the update process? Did you play any other games? Did the game crash?
