hi there im having problems intstalling sims 4 on my new laptop 

i bought a new laptop yesterday and tried to install sims 4 on it and it worked fine then got to 93% and said resuming download then wouldnt let me do anything and wouldnt complete. it worked fine on my old laptop but now wont do it been trying for the past day to download it. tried reinstaling it and now wont go past 2%!  :mansad: just really want to play sims!

Hello,

I would suggest deleting your Origin cache (a guide to do so can be found here), and then clicking "Repair Game" when left-clicking The Sims 4.

See whether that fixes your issue after closing and restarting Origin.

2. Downloading and Installation issues

If you're game isn't downloading, it can have several causes

• Servers are overloaded --> Try later
• Firewall and/or Antivirus are blocking the connection --> Add an exception for the Origin Client
• You have Proxies turned on --> Turn them off in your Internet settings.
• Reset your hosts file
