Cant click on certain things

★★ Novice

First it was the sensitivity which I fixed with taking out reshade. but now after playing for only a few minutes the game keeps going but I cant click on the Inventory, Gallery, Phone, Calander, Aspiration, Skills, traits, and the option dots in the corner. The only way I can save my game is if I click on edit world and save game, it saves the game but it glitches it out completely Ive deleted and reinstalled origin. Ive deleted and reinstalled the sims. Ive taking out the game folder creating a new one. And I did the repair game option on Origin. Nothing is working at all and I dint know what to do. Please help me.

Change the resolution settings of the screen in the game option
Try the highest first.

I don't work for EA

Try to change to another and check if it is working. This is not about setting a higher resolution, but about changing it to a different one at least once to see if it changes anything. See here - it was a similar problem

If this doesn't work try doing a factory reset as is described here

I am experiencing the same problem. Everything was working fine until I installed the latest game pack. Not to say that that has anything to do with this but just that I only encounter the problem now.

I have not tried the options discussed yet, but would like to know if the others experiencing this problem has done that and if it solved their problem.

OK if changing resolution doesn't help - it looks like mods/CC related problem or some configurations files in your game folder could be damaged after an update.
Go to Documents/ElectronicArts - inside will be The Sims4 folder
Step 1. Rename The Sims4 folder to "The Sims4 old"
Step 2. Fix the game in Origin
Origin/Library - right-click on TS4 - option "Repair game"
You have to wait until Origin will fix all packs, not only the base game.
Step 3. Turn on the game - a new game folder will be created and you will have two - one old, one new
Step 4. Check if you still have this problem in the newly created game folder.
If the problem disappeared
Step 5. Delete in the new game folder following folders:
"saves" and Tray.
Step 6. Go to "The Sims 4 old" folder and copy - your "saves " folder.
Step. 7, Paste this folder in a newly created game folder.
Step 8. Do the same with Tray folder and TrayDeleteItems file
Step 9. Check if there are newly updated version mods you are using.
Then copy and paste your mods and CC from old mods folder to the new one. First copy the scripts mods every time checking if the game is working properly. If you have a lot of CC try 50/50 method ( divide your CC into smaller batches for example 50 pieces in one subfolder and check these subfolders one by one)
Step. 10. If all is OK - delete The Sims4 old folder.

Your saves and library will stay as it was.
