I bought sims 4 for my mac book air a couple of months ago and it has been working just fine until a few days ago. When I'm trying to save a game it keep freezes on the saving screen. The loading thing is still spinning and 95% of the time nothing else happens no matter how long i leave it to load and i have to force quit without saving. On very few occasions the game manages to save, sometimes after 10+ mins of loading. I have 2 expansion packs, I bought city life just last week and it's been working perfectly fine until the other day when i spent 2 hours building a flat and it wouldn't save and I had to force quit. After that I've tried to save after just a few minutes of building to not lose too much but the same thing keeps happening.
I don't have any mods or cc, I've cleared the cache, deleted almost all my builds/households/saves to clear space, I've "repaired" the game on origin but it's still not working.
I'm a quite new mac owner so I don't know too much about it but I've got a:
OS X El Captain version 10.11.6
MacBook Air
processor: 1,6 GHz Intel Core i5
memory: 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3
graphics: Intel HD Graphics 6000 1536 MB
storage: 120GB
If anyone knows how to fix this, please help!
