Arctic Blitz Iconic trade

I have enough epic players to redeem for an iconic Arctic Blitz player, but the game says trade unavailable even though the event is currently going.

Is George Kittle the Iconic Arctic Blitz player that you are attempting to redeem?

If so, this is happening because you are only able to complete George Kittle's trade once. Unlike the other Field Pass Iconic trades (Krause and Matthews), you may only complete Kittle's Iconic trade one time since Iconic Kittle is given as a VIP Field Pass points milestone reward.

Once you have completed Kittle's Iconic trade once, you will have to purchase the VIP Field Pass ($29.99) and achieve the 27000 Field Pass points milestone to obtain a second Iconic Kittle. This is something that the dev team has been implementing since last year, presumably to add extra incentive to purchase the VIP Field Pass.
