Game Not working?

About a month or two ago I went to play my game and I noticed that my people weren't showing up on the game, so I couldn't play it because I couldn't see my characters. I've deleted and reinstalled it, I restarted the computer I know that it's not the computer. I've even made new people every time it does the same thing and recently when I try to click on a household it doesn't load up. I figured that It was something I downloaded for my Sim but I deleted all of the downloads and it still is doing the same thing. If there is anyway to fix this please help, I miss playing my game and would like to fix the problem as soon as possible. Thank you
