Controlling player/not running smooth

I have a problem controlling my player on ps4 before the patch every thing was fine after the pact I run up the court with out using turbo and he just stops at the half court and hesitate and playing defense he just goes where he want I reset my controller and game and still does the same sometimes I use turbo to take the ball up court and he still stops at half court and I’ll almost end up with a 8sec please fix
