Unable to change players instructions

Hi, after trying many steps, i still unable to change players instructuons, i can change anything in tactics except instructions, if orignally the player is on "stick to position" for example, then I cant's change it. it's the first time i'm playing the game through EA Play and it's the first time that i'm facing the problem, i would be more than happy if i can purchase the game fully without a subscription, unfortuantly the game is not availbale for purchasing anymore. Please help, I didn’t pay to not play a full game.
