Battlefield 1943 XboxOne Port Issues

The new port of Battlefield 1943 is most welcome but there are two issues that cripple it. They are:

1) The sniper rifle is inoperable. You can aim it but not fire it.

2) Vehicles move very slowly at first. This makes it difficult if not impossible to use any aircraft as they crash before you can get them off the ground.
