Hi @abcdefghines. 

When you downloaded the Visual C++ Redistributables did you download both the x64 and x86 versions? If you only downloaded one, can you try downloading the other version as well to see if that helps? Depending on if you're using a 32 bit or 64 bit version of Windows you may need to download a different version of the files.

thank you ! the c++ solution was the fix in my case

there are several links on the page that was mentioned above
at first i only downloaded the link with the complete software visual studio
that wasnt enogh in my case
later i went back and also downloaded the packages from the links below
the x86 download link was the fix for me
