I am considering buying the frosty deluxe edition, but I already have the non-deluxe edition of the game game and do not wish to erase my current progress. Does anybody know if doing so will erase my progress? Thanks.

Problems with the Frosty Deluxe edition seem to be occurring to people who already own some other "deluxe" edition. This happened to my playing buddy, and unfortunately he never heard back from the popcap guy who said he was fixing things, and he got no joy from EA customer service,
I think you might be OK but I'd still recommend holding off until EA has announced the issue is fixed.

They just closed a thread where people where complaining about the nonsense that is currently happening and related to Frosty Deluxe edition. My advice would be to stay away from it.
