nhl20 roster update

Just wondering if there will ever be another roster update for nhl20?
i dont have the money to buy the new game but i want to play as thorton on the leafs!

There are no further planned updates for NHL 20 as the development team has transitioned to NHL 21.

so theres literally no replay value in a game i payed good money for like 4 months ago? 
how does that make any sense?

I definitely understand not having the current rosters is frustrating, but this doesn't make the game unplayable. You can also create custom players to update the rosters.

i tried the new game and its literally the same game as 2020.
i now understand why ea has such a bad rap sheet.
you guys only care about the money.

the only fun part about the game is online vs and season mode but without roster updates its not fun at all

I'm very sorry, but we don't have current rosters for NHL 20. The team has transitioned to NHL 21 so there will be no further roster updates for NHL 20.
