Origin store says not connected

When ever I get on origin it says that the store is not connected and to please wait. Refreshing content... What is the problem? what can I do to fix it? it wont let me play the game.

@simmer144  Hi, 

Please try these steps and let me know how it goes:

1. Add firewall/antivirus exceptions for Origin and open the needed ports
2. Restart your router/modem and do a Clean Boot
3. Run CCleaner
4. Make sure that your UAC is enabled and set to notify

I have the exact same problem, I just got origin and am downloading BF4 (under the tab "my games") the store tab comes up with a message saying "NOT CONNECTED please wait. refreshing content."
