They have rolled out a partial fix so far, and you can test yourself by force-closing the app and restarting. A game patch will be going out in 5-10 minutes to resolve the issue for all players.

I've had this same problem as well.

I was unable to access the game for several hours this morning.  It looks like there is a fix, but everyone in my guild appears to have the problem as well.
