Sims 3 & Sims 4 [ Edited ]

I have downloaded EA, uninstalled and reinstalled. I also have reinstalled and installed Sims 3 and 4. It takes to the launch page but when it loads after I click the play icon, it crashes. It doesn't go to the normal start-up page in order to play the game. I'm using McAfee. I do not know why this is occurring. Any suggestions or help?

@peilinb  Please go into Documents and move the Electronic Arts folder to the desktop.  This will move user data for both Sims games to where those games can't read it, so if the problem is the folders' content, or the folders themselves, this should fix it temporarily.  Then it becomes a matter of sorting through your existing content to find the problems.

Please test both games, and if neither will launch, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
