Sims 3 Launcher Not Working SAYS error during startup HELP

My launcher says there was an a error during starup please help I tried everything I have windows 8 I only have like 4 games installed when I installed sims 3 island pardise it did not work please help or do something
I UNSTALLED ALL MY GAMES AND INSTALLED THEM BACK it keeps on saying the same thing please please do something a lot of people are having the same problem please It been going for more then 5 days I have tried everything I cant get on my launcher or update my game I cant play the sims I am really angry
