how do i put in a sims 4 activation code after i do the trial?

i did the sims 4 free trial, then a few days later bought the dvd version of the game, but theres no place to put the code in. its still saying my trial has ended and wants me to buy the game online. How do i get it to realize i bought the dvd and wanna put the activation code in?

You can register the code on Origin where it says Add Game from the Origin menu.

Go to Origin and then click Origin at the top and it will show like diffrent options then click redeem product code. Then put in the code inside your disc
