sims 3 seasons

I just purchased the sims 3 season on my pc.  Is it windows compatible?  Do I need to wait for a disc in the mail?

My daughter and I cannot seem to start playing the game.  It does say completely installed.

if you ordered it from origin no disk comes in the mail as that is mostly done away with now if you downloaded and installed  from your origin account and it is shown up as highlighted in the launcher (see image) then it's good to go now seasons added gameplay to the game in by way off adding weather.seasons  to the game and activities when spring rolls around the park will have a spring festival in summer a summer festival autumn and winter festival each festival will have it's own activities for example in winter ice-skating
