pets?

Hi

I created a family on my sims pets game and i thought i would adopt a dog to add to my family rather then create a dog, but i dont know how to. Coud you please let me know how to adopt a dog?? Oh and im playing on my MacBook, although i dont know if this makes a difference.

Hi!! To adopt a pet you just need to click on the daily paper, (if you canceled the delivery the same options are on the house phone and computer) and there will be two pet options. One is Adopt a pet, and one is place pet for adoption. There are only a few choices for each type of animal, but it changes with each paper. At least on mine it does. I'm guessing thats just he randomized pets being adopted and pets being placed for adoption.
