Does sims 3 or sims medieval special ed. require cash for simspoints?  Can you play without buying stuff? I'm looking to get this game but if it required money i don't want it.  How are simspoints earned?

you pay $10 minimum for simpoints which = 1000 simpoints which are then are used to buy items from the sims3 store you do not have to buy simpoints or buy items from the store most of the expansion and stuff packs have enough content to use to decorate your sim house and clothe your sims

if you do get the sims 3 base game you will get $10 worth of free simpoints
