Trying to reinstall code not valid

★★★ Newbie

I had to uninstall the SIMS 3 as it was giving me trouble.  It would not reinstall because it said my registration code is already in use.  I even tried restoring my entire system, but when I went to reinstall again, it gave me the same runaround.  Origin has Late Night under My Games, but not the base game and it won't let me get in without the base game.  I tried to connect with cs via chat, but it said the webpage is unavailable?  I have been doing this for the past twelve hours.  I really, really hope I didn't drop 60 bucks on these games just to have them unplayable.  Again, I AM UNABLE TO CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE so please don't advise me to do that.  The base game DOES NOT show up, only Late Night and it is unplayable.  What is happening?  Fix it.

I am using Firefox and the customer service live chat still does not work.  I keep getting a 404 message.  This is very, very frustrating.

Hi there

You must be extremely frustrated. I've been having some issues with other games and I know I'm ready to rip my hair out. I'll do my best to help you.

With the base game not appearing, unfortunately I can't do anything for you. I'm just a user like you and do not work for EA. The Answer HQ is a community site, and therefore you'll need to contact CS. Maybe try going through this link? http://eahelp.ea.com/en/ . For help with navigating the site, see this: http://answers.ea.com/t5/Beta-Archive/How-to-contact-a-Game-Advisor-using-the-new-EA-Help-page/m-p/2...

About the installation, try doing a manual uninstall: http://help.ea.com/au/article/manually-uninstalling-the-sims-3/ Sometimes there are traces of the game left on your PC from a previous install.

Let me know how it goes
