Hi,
Since a few months now I've been experiencing problems with the Sims. After re-installing Seasons, most of these problems disappeared (Error 12 while saving for example). But one problems remains. The one I hate the most. My game keeps crashing every 20 to 30 minutes, when this happens, it just closes without warning and returns to my desktop. Also, I don't get one of those standard "hey, you know your game crashed right?"-notifications. I've reinstalled the game (base and expansions). Deleting custom content didn't work either (and yes, I removed the content from the downloads folder as well as de-installing it via the launcher). Like I said earlier, I've been experiencing these problems with the Sims for a few months, after I installed Seasons. I've tried playing the game without Seasons, unfortunately, this did not help either.
Specs:
Mac OSX 10.8.2
Processor: 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 8GB 1333 MHz DDr3
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6770M 512 MB
And about 780GB of free and available space.
Would be great if this can be solved, especially with Uni Life on its way (have been waiting for this EP since the release of Sims 3)
Thanks in advance
Femke
