Sims 3 Late Night Wont Install

I bought the Sims 3 late night expansion pack on march 2013. My computer crashed and everything was erased... I installed back the original Sims 3 and is able install all the other sims3 games I own such as generations, pets, etc.. But for some reason I cannot install late night...I don't get an error when I try to install it, when I click to install it says installing then just stops out of nowhere. Is there a solution to this problem

Are you installing from disc or from Origin?
