Sims 3 Installation

So I've tried to install Sims 3 like five times now and I'll get to the very end of the installation and it will just stop and during the installation this error report comes us saying there's been an error and to cancel the installation or try again. I have a Dell Inspiron 15r laptop and it has Windows 8. I don't know what to do to install the Sims without all these problems.. help?
