Random crashing on TS3, first day playing (Please help !)

I downloaded TS3 for the first time yesterday. I also downloaded late night, seasons, and loft stuff. The first time I loaded the game it crashed on a load screen. I thought, no big deal, and loaded the game up again. I played a family for maybe an hour when it crashed again. Today I've tried to play a couple times in CAS, it crashes even quicker.

Over the past couple hours today I've tried quite a few things to solve this problem following various tutorials. I have no CC, I tried the DEP trick, checked my driver compatibility (seems fine), restarted a couple times, disabled windows defender.. etc.

I have a toshiba & running on windows 10. My computer is less than a month old.

@babytchi some of the crashes are related to MSVCR80.dll - try uninstalling it and downloading it (instructions are all in the link, make sure to read everything carefully before downloading): https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5638

here's a small update: after posting (and before seeing your reply) my game inexplicably started running smoother with way less crashing (some days I dont crash at all, other days it's once or twice). But I consistently crash in create a sim. I can put however long i want into making a sims face/hair, but when it comes to the clothing options in CAS it doesnt take long for my game to crash. interestingly, when I go into CAS on an already existing sim using testingcheats, I experience laggyness but seldom crash.

Anyways: I just tried you recommendation, restarted my computer, and opened up the game and tried CAS, but no dice.
