[MAC] Sims 3 Won't Start [ Edited ]

It says I need an update to install and then I update but then it says I need another update to install. If I even get it to open it then says I need a disc (which is already in the computer). I am on a Mac mini and even sometimes I search for updates it takes like 3 hours to install them, even if I'm completely updated it STILL won't let me play the game. This is new for me as I could play it just fine before.

I would suggest downloading and installing the super patch for MAC from here: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/FAQ-Current-Patch-1-67-Manual-links-and-more/td-p/67858

I'm not sure if it'll help as I'm not a MAC helper, but let me know how it goes
