Installation with the Sims 3 Disc

I am having issues with installing Sims 3 on my computer from the disc. Every time I try, Origin pops up and asks me to log in. I try to log in the Origin tells me that I must be online the first time I log in. I am currently logged in online and Origin still continues to tell me the same thing on their pop up window. Please help or I am going to return the $40+ dollars in games that I just bought tonight.

Try the following steps:

Go to your Control Panel and find:
Internet Options
Connections
LAN Settings
Un-tick Proxy Server

If that doesn't do anything, make sure that there's nothing blocking your connection. Look here for a list of programs that might conflict with Origin:
