I'm getting a message that says no disc!

I played my Sims 3 Seasons the other day, and i went to play today.. It loaded fine until i got to where it asks which family you want to play. it said no game disc found. I havent taken the disc out for months. No scratches on it. I just took it out and put it back in. I checked for updates. And it still said it. Am I missing something?

Strange re-install origin and try the repair install just press your game icon in origin and press repair install if nothing works then 

For this you will need to contact Origin/EA support they will gladly help you whit this problem https://help.ea.com/en/origin go here press contact as give information press I still need help at the bottom of the page and then press start live chat and you will get a live chat whit an EA agent that will be glad to help you

I don't really know what i'm doing. I reinstalled it, but i dont know where to find repair install. I'm on a mac.

It is the same just press your game icon in "my games" section of origin and press "Repair Install" if it does not work then contact support and follow the instructions above on how to contact them
