Error trying to install custom content into the game

I keep getting a message that says " It looks like you have installed an unofficial game modification that does not match your current version of The Sims 3. We recommend that you either uninstall these modifications or get updated version of them - otherwise you may experience crashes or significant bugs." when I try to install custom content. Please someone help me

Do you have any modifications installed? Try to play without them.
