Disappearing toddlers

This has happened twice now. I have my sim travel and leave the toddler with a babysitter and when y sim comes back the toddler has disappeared, even though they are still in my family tree. Help! Not sure why this is happening.

Known glitch since the base game they call it the babysitter steals the baby. I dont know if EA has ever fixed this. Maybe another helper knows the answer but advise not to leave your toddlers/babies with a babysitter. Can you go back to a prior save? Have you tried evicting the family in edit town and moving them back in?

Try to go to edit town mode and place a copy of the family or toddler.
