Sims 3 Late Night Wont Install [ Edited ]

Hello. I recently downloaded the sims 3 starter pack on origin (I play on mac.) The sims 3 downloaded just fine but when it came to the sims 3 late night, it got bad. It would install and right before it was done installing it would say 635 of 685 and 32 seconds left. It just stayed there. I really want to download late night so this just bugged me a lot. And yes I am on the latest update.

Your download may be corrupted. Please try the following, in this order:

1. Manually uninstall any files that have installed.
2. Empty the trash and restart your Mac.
3. Run the Origin reset tool again.
4. Open Origin and re-download then install Late Night.

First of all, could you make sure you have enough space in your hard drive for the download? If there's enough space, please, try to restart your computer, reset Origin as explained here and then try to download Late night again? Something seems to have gone wrong with the download but it should complete right if you try a second time

Hello, I do have enough space on my mac and resetting origin did nothing. The game stops at file 635 of 686 and just stays there, this seems to be a unique problem considering island paradise downloaded just fine for me.

It worked this time! Turns out that the first time I reset origin i canceled it without noticing.
