Backup/restore Origin games

Why can't origin build a function to "verify files"? Every time I try to restore game files I either end up downloading the whole game or at least half the game and this after multiple attempts to restore the files, it just doesn't see all the files. This is frustrating and uses unnecessary data.

Thanks for your reply, I still think it would be easier if they build a function to verify files. It is more user friendly.
