why do i lose battlemarks when o do good in game ?

Yeah, it stinks getting MVP, but still loosing a battlemark.  The rank chip is ranking you vs everyone on the server, not just those in your game.  As you go up, it becomes harder to advance/ keep marks because it is expected that you are going to play better than those with lower ranks.  You have to get more kills/ less deaths to keep rank than the lower tiers do.
