cannot login shows incorrect password/username

I cannot log into the account since it shows as incorrect username/password. However I can log into the website with the same ones.

@KyvorsKe Are you getting any message when you try to log in? Are you trying to log in to Origin or thesims3.com?

I cannot Log in via the Game Launcher.  Can log in at site.  Trying to download a purchase.

There might be some corrupted cache that is not allowing you to log in using the launcher. Let's try to fix it!

Could you follow the instructions in this thread to clear your Internet Explorer cache? Even if you use another browser, please clear Internet Explorer's cache as it's the browser The Sims 3 launcher uses.
