Script Error (Syntax) - Sims 3 Launcher

I'm having the EXACT same problem! I even purchased a nice new computer with great graphics in order to play this game and now I'm getting a Syntax error and there aren't any accessible solutions that I can find. SMH.

I keep getting a Script Error whenever I load the game up and try to log into my account..... :/ It's beginning to really annoy me.

I have exactly the same problem with the game shuts down after 20-30 seconds when I am in the world. Having looked and looked for a possible solution, and have tried to reinstall without it had an effect on the game. It sucks, now I'm gone dead in sims 4.
