cant open create household

I bought sims3 seasons yesterday and installed it. i dont know if that's the reason this is happening but now i cant open create household.. Its just stuck in loading, I tried restarting my computer and try again like 5 times but that did not help at all, it worked normally before.. anyone know how i can fix this?

And i installed when i open the game launcher  this **bleep** pops up that says - unable to connect to origin
And i cant download the latest patch of the game it just stops at 99%

In regards to your second issue, the newest patch does not work with the launcher very well. Many people have had this problem. You need to try patching manually. Woooow thank you so much ! I didn't think anyone would answear me ! Been trying to fix this all night now I can at least  fix one of the problems! .. I just have to keep trying with the other one :D
