University Life - Can't Redeem Code for Origin

Hi,

I bought a retail copy of The Sims 3: University Life, and I would like to add it to my Origin library where all of my other The Sims 3 games are.  However, when I go to redeem the serial number, it tells me that it's already been used.  Should I have done this before I installed the game or before I registered the game on The Sims 3 website?  Is there any other way I can add the game to my Origin library?

When you registered the game on the Sims account, it should become/ be visible on your Origin account since they are connected.  As far as I know it can take a couple of days to appear.
