Trouble registering my Sims 3 and expansion packs?

I have purchased The Sims 3 and expansion packs and I try to login on The Sims pop up back to buy extras and take part in the exchange part of The Sims. But when I enter in my correct email and password, I am taken to browser page to create a profile for The Sims. So i create a name and agree to the Terms and Conditions and click Sign up. But then the page just refreshes and show the same page I was just on but empty! No error alert or anything! I want to be able to also register my games but I cannot even get to that point! PLEASE help!

try clear the internet cache and switching browsers if on chrome or safari try firefox or IE
