Sims3 Wont Work! Please Help!!

I recently bought the Sims 3 Starter Pack for my Windows 7 laptop.

I put the Sims 3 Base cd in and it opened the install page. I selected to install and it wont do anything more than that!

I have ran it as admin and everything! Its killing me that I cant play it please help!
