Sims Game is not working properly

I am very disappointed in my Sims games recently as they fail to play on ANY of my computers. Same game. Different computers. I've tried playing the same Sims game on a Window 7, Windows 8, and Lion for Macs. My game will just tell me my Sims game has stopped responding and will just shut down.

I'm a Sims lover as I have all the Sims but I've become very disappointed as I can not play the one game I love. Is there any way I can fix my game?
