Sim points and store bought content

So a couple of years back I got the sims 3. I downloaded it and bought a crib and some more stuff I had about 300 sim points left. So I got a new computer and when I got on there it was 21 sim points and my store bought content was gone. I don't know if the store content doesn't exist anymore but I don't know how I lost all my sim points. PLEASE HELP!!
