Serial Code Used

Hi I bought The Sims 3 and Into The Future Expansion Pack (The Sims 3 comes with Late Night and High Tech Loft Stuff). I waited hours for Origin to install, update and stuff and when I had to put in the serial code to register and start playing it, a sign pops up saying the code is already used!!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP ME, I BOUGHT ONLY THOSE TWO THINGS FOR $700 !!!!! THAT IS EXPENSIVE AND IT WILL ONLY BE WASTING MY MOM'S MONEY AND I REALLY WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME...please help I need help..someone please help me.. or it would be a waste of $700 and i cant return it because I took off the plastic wrapping to open the thing please

@sbritabear   and at the most  in US dollars about  $40 as the games the starter pack would be about $20 the into the future about $20
