HI,
I bought The Sims 3 started pack today brand new still in the plastic wrap. I went through hell getting origin to download, had to install/uninstall multiple times, went through an update that took an hour and forty five minutes, registered and made an account at sims3.com and origin but when i go to redeem my serial number is says it is invalid. I have entered it multiple times, tried it on both origin and sims3.com and even tried the 11 digit code on the back of the box and nothing is working it just says the code is invalid. I haven't recieved any new emails besides the one showing my registration on sims3.com. I am extreamly frustrated and cant seem to find any help with the situation.
Please, any information would be helpful.

are you using the same email and password for both accounts ?
the 11 digit code on the back of the box has nothing to do with being a game code the code should be on the back of the leaflet inside how to install the game/s
the codes come in 20 digits game and 16 digit DLC content the DLC content is redeemed on the sims 3 account
if you redeemed the codes in orign first they auto reg for you on the sims 3 account and vice versa
if you continue to have code issues after this you will need to contact CS as only they can look at your account
