Loading pre-owned discs

I am in the process of buying pre owned discs in the SIMS 3 range

How do I load them onto my system? (I have my own The Sims 3 base pack and already have two other games SIms 3 Pets and SIms 3 Island Paradise)

the thing about buying second hand/used games is the code is nontransferable nor can it be reregestired to another account in particular if the previous owner redeemed the code in their account

this is the part i'm unsure off  i think though not a 100% sure on this part you may still be able to install the disks and play
