How to get free Simpoints?

I bought the World Adventures expansion pack for Sims3 on Origin. One of the features, and one of the reasons I bought the expansion pack on Origin, was 1000 free Simpoints for the Sims 3 store. I've downloaded and installed the expansion pack, the other rewards that came with it, and have been in a played the game but I'm still missing the free Simpoints. How are you supposed to get them? I've checked my account in the store, checked the email order confirmation, still no idea how to get the points. Help!
