Loading Screen froze with only one character.

no, I tried creating other characters on other servers - same thing. Also I am new so the character was just created, I never even got to play. I can't create a ticket since I can not get into the game past character select.

Given what you have tried already Skiv did you delete all the existing files before re-install ?

If not With the game closed go to

C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars-The Old Republic\swtor

Delete the file called diskcachearena

Ok need some info , has this system played swtor before ?

what antivirus is used and is there exceptions for both launcher.exe and swtor.exe ?

Is the game shortcut running as administrator ?

Is this a desktop/laptop and what video card and what drivers are you using ?

had a quick look , first question to ask given this is dual gfx, switch between the integrated Intel 3000 and the Nvidia GT555M is there any change ?

Your post gave me an idea, I tried changing my used graphics card for the launcher.exe and swtor.exe to Geforce GT555M instead of the integrated Intel one (should have tried it from the beginning, my bad), but that didn't help either. 1920x1080 shouldn't be so far-fetched with that!

no, the system never played SWTOR before. Im using only the microsoft essentials, the exceptions are in place for everything. Shortcut is running as admin. My laptop graphics card is Nvidia Geforce GT 555M and I am using the latest official Nvidia drivers. 

Anyway, awaiting more suggestions!

P.S. also the forumsdont want to load my files for some reason. -_- Sec, i'll find another way to get em to you.

P.P.S. apparently the files are too large? So it load some and not the other. I don't want to post the logs here, way too long. How can I get em to you?

@TheSkiv I did see that your Bitraider is having firewall issues still via your bitraider log, it still managed to get a lot of the fixes done; but who know what it fixed.

so the Intel card is not helping either. I'm gonna do the steps you suggested. Installing the DirectX did not help. Trying the clean boot now. Yay, fun... Please let me know how can I get the log files to you besides the forums, since they don't want to load my files.

but... I allowed it through firewall... what can I do to fix it? Turning firewall off seams to me as not the best solution.
